NAS Patuxent River (Pax River) in UAP retrieval claims
Unproven What these labels mean →Pax River (NAVAIR HQ, Test Pilot School, NAWCAD) recurs in UAP claims, in three tiers. (1) Documented: Salvatore Pais's Navy-assigned 'inertial mass reduction' and related patents (2016–19); NAWCAD's ~$508K test found the effect 'could not be proven'. (2) Testimony: Elizondo's written answers to post-hearing questions (Nov 2024 Oversight hearing) describe a new PAX hangar built to receive a planned Lockheed→Bigelow materials transfer 'via air and river', which he says the CIA blocked. (3) Anonymous: Liberation Times sources tied to NAVAIR say an 'exotic vehicle of unknown origin' has been held there, possibly since the 1950s, originally under CIA S&T, with a contingency plan to move it. AARO (2024) found no verifiable evidence of retrieval programs.

Soft-synthesis flag
- Pax River's real classified test mission explains why it surfaces in the claims whether or not they're true: it's plausible cover either way. Only the Pais patents are primary-source paper.
Gaps
- NAVFAC/NAVAIR MILCON records for new PAX hangars (~2008–2012): purpose and security classification. Candidate FOIA row, but check the Black Vault first.
