Law no. 17 of 25 January 1982 (the Anselmi law, Gazzetta Ufficiale 28 Jan 1982) implemented the constitutional ban on secret associations and, in article 5, dissolved the P2 lodge. The Grand Orient of Italy's own expulsion of P2 is a separate, held record.
