Notes
- UFO claim: handled debris from the Bluegill Triple Prime nuclear test (1962) at Los Alamos. Only his own account.
- E's point: former read-in people's job and education histories get scrubbed. Malmgren's career is well documented, so he is not an example of that. Next step: check whether any specific scrubbing case is documented.
-
Order of Malta names: Donovan was already checked in the WCC deep dive; no evidence he was a Knight (his papal honor was the Order of St. Sylvester). That's a mismatch with Malmgren's list.
-
Records check (D.D. Johnson, Washington Examiner, May 2025): 1971 SF-86 lists only a 1962 Navy Top Secret (no AEC Q). 1962–64 job was IDA economics analyst, not McNamara's NSC liaison. Shriver family and biographer don't corroborate the Kennedy inner-circle claim.
