Grand Canyon mysteries: Kinkaid's cavern, split-twig figurines, the Rampart Cave fire, Blumrich's Kásskara
From 'What Lurks Beneath' (2026), four threads: (1) The 1909 Arizona Gazette 'Egyptian cavern' (G.E. Kinkaid, a 'Smithsonian' expedition). The Smithsonian has no record of the people or the dig; widely treated as a hoax, and the seed of 'Smithsonian cover-up' lore. (2) Split-twig figurines, ~4,000 years old (4,200–3,100 BP), cached under capstones in 4 of ~150 surveyed caves, some pierced by miniature spears. Schwartz et al. (1958) couldn't tie the makers to any known culture. (3) Rampart Cave: Shasta ground-sloth dung up to 20 ft deep (40–24 ka and 13–11 ka) was set alight by intruders in 1976; ~70% destroyed. (4) NASA engineer Josef Blumrich (*Spaceships of Ezekiel*, 1974) recorded Hopi White Bear Fredericks for *Kásskara und die sieben Welten* (Econ, 1979): a sunken Pacific homeland, war with Atlantis, katsinas flying people on 'shields'. The original tapes haven't been located.
