Georgia Guidestones (1980–2022)
Smoke, no fire What these labels mean →A 19-ft granite monument in Elbert County, Georgia, commissioned in June 1979 by a man using the pseudonym 'Robert C. Christian' for 'a small group of loyal Americans'. It carried ten guidelines in eight languages for rebuilding after a feared catastrophe, including 'maintain humanity under 500,000,000'. The anonymous sponsor and the population line fueled theories of a New World Order/depopulation or Satanic monument. It was bombed by an unidentified vandal on 6 Jul 2022 and demolished by the county the same day; the remains went to the Elberton Granite Association.
