Dan Burisch: worked with an alien ('J-Rod') at Area 51
Smoke, no fire What these labels mean →Says he was a microbiologist at Area 51/S-4 who worked with an extraterrestrial called 'J-Rod', and on 'Project Looking Glass' (viewing timelines). Verified: a UNLV biology BS (1986). Stony Brook denies his PhD. Knapp's I-Team found he was a Las Vegas parole officer in the early 1990s.

Traces vs. claims
| Item | What exists | What it shows |
|---|---|---|
| BS Biology, UNLV 1986 | Verified | Real science degree |
| PhD, Stony Brook (1989/90) | The school says he was never enrolled. Supporters show diplomas and letters | PhD. School records deny it (not just missing). That's a stronger denial than Lazar's |
| Area 51 microbiologist | Employment records show a Las Vegas parole officer early 1990s | Overlaps the years he claims to have been at S-4 |
| J-Rod, Looking Glass | His account only | No trace |
Against the credential erasure test
- Burisch's traces show a different real job during the claimed period, not a lower-level version of the claimed one. That's harder to explain as erasure than Lazar's case, unless the parole-officer job was a cover.
- Supporters' affidavits come from his circle, so they don't count as independent (step 3).
- Why smoke rather than unproven: Lazar has a real lab trace; Burisch has none that touches Area 51.
